Ukraina Pasport
Federico Clavarino

Ukraina Pasport is a journey into a clingy country, with eyes on the West but resembling post soviet decadency. A place where the eco of the long gone revolution can still be heard and its tint tells nothing at all. This is a very especial work that welcomes one to transcend past, future, childhood, adulthood, and reality and imagination boundaries. In this journey Clavarino makes use of the Ukrainian social and political reality to speak about nostalgia and transformation.

Federico Clavarino was born in Turin (Italy) in 1984. Currently living and working in Madrid he has published two pieces of work; La Vertigine (Fiesta Ediciones, 2010) and Ukraina Pasport (Fiesta Ediciones, 2011).

ABSOLUTO
Natacha Marlo

Lazy mornings where the author forecasts the duties of the coming day, where she becomes aware of who she is, of who she was….wondering who she will be…or what he pretends to be… . In Absoluto, is the first time she uses color to narrate her most intimate stories of her life journey, empting and filling the soul….a new vision of her world.

Natacha Marlo (Granada, 1967). At the age of 7 she wrote to the 3 wise kings make a wish: a Werlisa II which she uses to explore games on her childhood. Since that point she has been involved in making photodocumentaries conveying social action. She always carries her compact camera in her packed bag. With the camera she captures tiny moments that despite being lost in memory they remain trapped in print. She has shown her works in different parts of Spain, in Larache and in Tangier (Morocco), Berlin (Germany), Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and Ribnik (Bosnia).

PASOS
Mikel Ibarrola

Pasos takes place along the extensive path that daily usual living provides. A path that is constantly undergoing a process of reconstruction. Resembling the inherited fatality of life. This work takes photographic imagery as a symbolic space where to inhabit and which bases its narrative onto existence’s fragmented character.

Pasos admires those events that daily living blurs. Pasos however does not intend to trap such events in order to make them subject of discussion. But it rather desires to go with the flow of such events, as if that was it all.

Mikel Ibarrola (Pamplona, Navarra, 1982). This author’s insight in photography has varied significantly over the years. These variations have been influenced by the author’s acquired training as well as by his vital experiences. All this has given rise to photographic projects of different character where intriguing expressive developments take place.

NERVES, FEST & LA MAISON
Laëtitia Donval

In a constant permeability between life drive and death drive, I can switch from a lively and spontaneous mood to an abrupt withdrawal to my surroundings. This trilogy presents five years of my life shared between a period of wandering and perdition (Nerves, 2010) to a nostalgic return, more introverted, toward my family home in rural Brittany where I look at the local festivities (Fest, 2011 ) and my neighborhood (La maison, 2011).

Her work shows the fragility of a world that is supposed to be organized to limit the effects of suffering and loneliness. It questions our membership in the human community, with an abrupt and fragmentary way, exposing her relationship with reality, between attraction and distance. In 2010, she self-published a first book called Nerves, exhibited in many international photo festivals.

Selection of exhibitions: QPN (Nantes), New York Photo Festival, Le Bal (Paris), F/Stop Festival (Leipzig), International Center of Photography (New York), RIP (Arles)
